WM JEWELL and COMPANY
is an environmentally concerned firm dedicated to finding creative, practical and aesthetic solutions to the problems created with the interaction of natural and manmade environments. We offer a full range of environmental services: policy development, landscape design and planning to individuals, groups, schools, state and local govemments, and public and private agencies.

STAFF
The people at the core of Wm JEWELL and COMPANY are all landscape architects with experience and degrees in other fields as well. Because of the staffs special skills, we can creatively and efficiently remove the adversities created by restrictive codes, successfully change adverse site characteristics from obstacles to benefits and balance contemporary needs with traditional character and values.

WILLIAM JEWELL
WiIliam Jewell has been in the field of landscape architecture, planning and environmental administration for over 20 years. He has a BSLA degree from Penn State and an MST degree in Environmental Studies from Antioch / New England Graduate School, Keene. He has worked for both public and private organizations and has been an adjunct faculty member at Southem Vermont College fcr ten years teaching environmental science, ecology and enviromental planning.

His experience includes working for: State of Vermont, Act 250 Coordinator; City of Cleveland, Design and Construction Section; Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission; State of Vermont, Department of Forests Parks and Recreation; Buchart-Horn Consulting Engineers and Rahenkamp Sachs Wells and Associates.

His interests include: field biology, photography, waste use, energy conservation, education, archeology, orchards, construction, horticulture, resource management, anthropology, and fostering interdisciplinarv cooperation.
