I've been making rustic furniture for 20 years now and I'm always looking for pieces of wood that are unique. Working with green woods, I shape the pieces into designs based on historical Adirondack furniture, with a contemporary styling. As the more decorative elements are put into the frame, they're nailed into place. The subsequent drying causes it to shrink on and around the nails.
