Parish History:

St. Joseph's was established on August 30, 1946.  The first Mass in the (old) St. Joseph's Church was celebrated on June 29, 1947 by the then Father Ed Buckley.  This building is now the parish hall - Buckley Center.      On May 22, 1969 the present Church was dedicated and a Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated by Bishop Robert Joyce.

St. Joseph's Chapel began in 1950.   The present building underwent much refurbishing but began to be used in 1965.   The Rev. Joseph Pray celebrated the first Mass in the newly completed St. Joseph's Chapel in 1969.
