New Council Members needed
St. Joseph Parish is seeking individuals interested in joining our Parish Council, Stewardship Committee, and Finance Council. These are important ministries in our parish, and I ask that you prayerfully consider responding to this opportunity to serve our Lord. Please contact the rectory or see Fr. Zuccaro after Mass if you are interested. With thanks for all that so many of you give to our parish, please be assured of my prayers.
In Christ, Fr. Zuccaro

The Stewardship Committee meets on the third Monday of each month.

Parish History:

Saint Joseph The Worker Parish was established on August 30, 1946.  The first Mass in the (old) Saint Joseph's Church was celebrated on June 29, 1947 by the then Father Ed Buckley.  This building is now the parish hall - The Buckley Center. On May 22, 1969 the present Church was dedicated and a Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated by Bishop Robert Joyce.

Saint Joseph's Chapel began in 1950.  The present building underwent much refurbishing but began to be used in 1965.  The Rev. Joseph Pray celebrated the first Mass in the newly completed St. Joseph's Chapel in 1969.
