The Computer Museum

In 1996, The Computer Museum History Center was established in Silicon Valley to further fulfill the Museum's mission as an international resource on the history of computing. The History Center is home to the most comprehensive archive of computing artifacts in the world. The Computer Museum Network (www.tcm.org) reinterprets the various Museum's elements for the global audience of the Internet through Java-enabled, interactive exhibits.

In the Networks Gallery area, you can collaborate with other on-line visitors to solve The Networked Puzzle, an on-line, interactive problem-solving activity. You can also learn more about how networks work, explore the social impacts of networking and explore the many ways all of us are using networks in our everyday lives. The goal of The Networked Puzzle is to solve a puzzle collaboratively by sending half-pieces of a puzzle to other players, who have the remaining half-pieces. The game is over when the puzzle has been completed.

In the Robots Gallery, TCM provides an introduction to robotics. By trying the interactives in this gallery and reading the accompanying materials, you can learn more about how robots work and what they do. You can even design your own robot.

The interactive robots is definately educational but the puzzle is a must play.
