|"Not much is convincing about the
slackly told Old Dark House story."
by Dennis Schwartz
actor Alex Nicol ("Three Came
Back"/"Point of Terror"/"Tarzan and the
Perils of Charity Jones") directs for the first
time this spooky horror tale. The b/w film effectively
uses sound to create frightening moments. It's written
by John Kneubuhl.
Not much is convincing about the slackly told Old Dark House story. It seemed more interested in getting down the frights scenes than in telling a good story.
