James Parrott ("The Music Box"/"The Chimp"/"Mr. Bride") directs this somewhat funny silent slapstick comedy from Laurel and Hardy, from a script by Leo McCarey.

Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are two hungry panhandlers at the apartment door of a loony professor (Richard Carle), who recruits them for $500 to go to the cemetery and bring him a corpse to do a radical brain experiment. The boys are confronted at the graveyard by a bat and a man appearing as a ghost, that has Oliver trying to calm the scared Stan.

It's a minor work in their opus, easily forgettable.
