Quilting Anagrams
Ive always liked puzzles. I even had the luck to appear on the NPR Weekend Edition Sunday Puzzle with Will Shortz back in 1994, so Im the proud owner of a Weekend Edition lapel pin. (I got an easy puzzle, thank goodness!)
Several years ago, I created a couple of anagram (scrambled word) puzzles related to quilting and quilters. The first was a set of Quilt Block anagrams. The second was a set of Quilters Names anagrams.
Recently, I decided to do a few more Fabrics, Fabric Lines, Colors, Sewing Supplies & Notions, and Sewing Machines. To make it easier, Ive created zip files with all seven anagram sets and their answers. (Note: There was one error in the Fabrics set when these were first posted: GNASH NUTS should have been GNASH NUT.)
If youd like to use them with your quilting group or guild newsletter, feel free to do so, as long as you give proper credit. (And speaking of credit much credit is due to Anagram Genius, an ingenious but quite addictive bit of software!) If you use them in your newsletter, Id love to receive a copy. Email me for the mailing address.
