NEW COMMISSION |

"First
Breath Number 1"
|
I
have been commissioned to sculpt a new version of
a older piece named, "First Breath" (image
at left). The planned sculpture will depict
a adult female Humpback whale pushing her New Born
calf to the surface to catch its very first breath
of life. A newborn calf will drown unless the mother
gets it to the surface immediately.
Work
has begun and hopefully will be completed by January
09. Keep tuned
for updates. (Select images for larger

Nantucket Whaling Museum
to accept my
work.
The NHA(Nantucket Historical Association) and I have
made a agreement for them to accept all my remaining
work upon my death.
I am so happy about this. It is a fitting tribute for
any artist to receive such recognition and warms my heart
that my work will be shared with the public for decades
after I'm gone. Right on!:-)

"Angels
Come In Many Disguises"
finds
a home!
I'm
pleased to announce that my newest work, "Angels
Come In Many Disguises" has been purchased by Christopher
and Carline Dean of Westport, CT. The Deans placed the sculpture
in a nook in their newly refurbished library. As you can
see, "Angels" was meant to be there.
Congratulations Chris and Carline.
