GROUPS IN YOUR CHURCH
We all need a place to belong, a place to share our joys and worries, places where others can pour Gods love into the leaky bucket of our lives, and in time we find healing. No garden grows without water and here is where we drink from the river of life!
All Aboard for the Christmas Carol Hayride!
12 Steps for Christians
Meets every Saturday, 9-10:30 at the church.
Each week we work on one of the Twelve Steps in an explicitly Christian context. We all have a variety of addictions, and many of us also go to AA or other groups for our specific addictions. Here we apply the Bible to our recovery process, along with the 12 steps.

Afternoon Bible Study
Meets every Thursday, 1:15-3:00 at Helen Allen's House, Grape St. Extension. Call 265-2465.
Time is set aside for each person to share about their week and for a circle prayer for all of these needs and joys. Then one member of the group leads us in a study of the lectionary readings for the coming Sunday drawing upon The Inviting Word study materials.

Evening Bible Study
Meets Thursday Evenings, 7:30 PM at a home. Call Linda or Don Wood at 802-468-2726 for directions.
After an opening time of song, the group shares in a lively exploration using Neighborhood Bible Study or similar material. Right now the group is studying Romans. Then prayer reports and requests are shared followed by a time of prayer. The evening concludes with refreshments and informal fellowship.

Choir - Music Ministry
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM at church.
Singers gather to practice for our music ministry in worship. During the six weeks before Christmas and Easter we prepare a musical cantata.

Our men enjoy singing, eating, talking and life!
Mens Breakfast

One Sunday a month, usually the third, 8:00-9:00 AM
Men (from 2 to 82) gather for an hour of eating and fellowship. A totally unprogrammed time, we care for one another and share the life of faith.

One or two men prepare the food each month.
Prayer Group

Starting at 7 PM each Wednesday Evening at the home of Helen Allen, Grape St. Ext., phone 265-3465 for directions. People come and go as they are able or need.
A river of people come together to share our journey. After opening prayer, each person who would like to share talks about whatever the Spirit puts on their hearts, then the group lays on hands to pray for them. People are able to talk about anything in this safe place where acceptance is always assured and confidentiality is a hallmark.
