Read all about it: Tyson and 2pac
I know that you're thinking that this is just another article alleging that
2pac and Mike Tyson were lovers, but this is the first time that enough
facts have been assembled to prove this. It all started a year before the
Holyfield-Tyson match in which Don King introduced the two at a DeathRow
record release party. The two became close after one of 2pac's female vocalists
became sick, and Tyson agreed to fill in.
The two eventually fell in love and, four months later, they were an item.
To prevent the public from knowing this, they hid at Tyson's Las Vegas mansion.
A week after the couple's first rendezvous Tyson and Holyfield signed the
contract for their now legendary bout. At first, Tyson was a heavy favorite,
but as the fight got closer, the odds evened out.
When the bout started, Tyson was greeted with jeers. Holyfield was greeted
with cheers. The fans were seated with beers. One fan did not have a beer,
to Iron Mike he did not jeer, he was seated in the rear, a Tyson loss he
sure did fear. This fan was Tyson's dear, as the end of the match drew near
Tyson was buffeted in the chest, face, and ear.
Tyson, as we know, lost in the 11th round, by TKO. 2pac was overcome with
mixed emotions. He knew the media would lambaste Tyson. 2pac wanted to take
the spotlight off of his lover's loss. His response to this was an act of
heroic selflessness... suicide!
