This engine came into Rutland a few years ago in the Norfolk Southern Thoroughbred paint scheme, and was their number 2000. Although the NS colors were neat, providing local variety if not color, this engine became one of the best looking diesels anywhere after the green and yellow GMRC paint was applied. The GMRC 1851 became 804 after the merger with VTR. |
