We made our descent from 14,200 feet in deteriorating weather. We got pinned down for an entire day at 8,000 feet in a rather intense snowstorm. We also negotiated some very tricky crevasse crossings, and finally made a safe return to base camp. The expedition was over, and it was time to relax in the knowledge that we were all safe and unharmed.
