Thank you and see you on the field.

Brattleboro is a small city nestled in the heart of the Connecticut River Valley of Southern Vermont. It is home to several pickup and competitive Ultimate disc teams embracing a wide breadth of experience and competitiveness. Players are welcome to join any level of play and are encouraged to pick a group consistent with their personal goals.

Disc in Brattleboro is seasonal, offering men's, women's, and mixed gender summer and fall traveling teams, depending on numbers. All practice and pick-up days are mixed gender unless otherwise specified.

A great deal of the planning and discussion around Brattleboro disc takes place on a restricted mail forum. To join the discussion group, send email to frisbee-request@both.com.

Insurance

Anyone who wishes to play should make sure their UPA membership is up to date or should have proof of alternate sports/accident insurance.

UPA Membership and Insurance

"UPA" stands for "Ultimate Players' Association" which is the governing body for the sport of Ultimate in the United States. UPA membership is generally required for tournament play, but even players who do not plan on playing in tournaments may derive considerable benefit from joining the organization. Among other things, UPA membership provides insurance for players, which permits the use of many playing venues not otherwise available to us. If you plan to play league, you will be required to become a UPA member for this reason, and we would ask that you please initiate or renew your membership before the first game, so that the organizers are not put in the awkward position of sidelining otherwise valued players. The fees for UPA membership are minimal, and although we never like to think of the risks we assume playing this sport, they are real, and the protection afforded through this insurance can be invaluable.
