Mount Snow is ideally located convenient to all the Northeast’s metropolitan areas. It is easily accessible from major airports and highways and is the closest major ski resort in Vermont heading north. Mount Snow is located only 25 miles from Route 91, the major interstate highway serving the heart of New England.


By Car

From Brattleboro, VT

To Mount Snow: Take Exit 2 off I-91 to Route 9 West. 20 miles to Wilmington, VT. Turn right at the stoplight onto Route 100 North. Go Approximately 8 miles. Bear left onto Two Tannery Road. Go over bridge and it is the first building on the left.

From Bennington, VT

Take Route 9 East 21 miles to Wilmington, VT. Turn left at the stoplight onto Route 100 North. Go Approximately 8 miles. Bear left onto Two Tannery Road. Go over bridge and it is the first building on the left.

From Albany and West

Take I-90 to I-787. Follow I-787 North to Route 7. Take Route 7 East to Bennington, VT. (Route 7 becomes Route 9 in Vermont.) Take Route 9 East 21 miles to Wilmington, VT. Turn left at the stoplight onto Route 100 North. Go Approximately 8 miles. Bear left onto Two Tannery Road. Go over bridge and it is the first building on the left.

From New York City and South

Take I-95 north to I-91 in New Haven, CT. Follow I-91 north to Exit #2 in Vermont. Follow directions from Brattleboro.

From Boston, MA

Take Route 2 West to I-91. Take Exit 2 off I-91 to Route 9 West. 20 miles to Wilmington, VT. Turn right at the stoplight onto Route 100 North. Go Approximately 8 miles. Bear left onto Two Tannery Road. Go over bridge and it is the first building on the left.

From Albany and West

Take I-90 to I-787. Follow I-787 North to Route 7. Take Route 7 East to Bennington, VT. (Route 7 becomes Route 9 in Vermont.) Take Route 9 East 21 miles to Wilmington, VT. Turn left at the stoplight onto Route 100 North. Go Approximately 8 miles. Bear left onto Two Tannery Road. Go over bridge and it is the first building on the left.

From New York City and South

Take I-95 north to I-91 in New Haven, CT. Follow I-91 north to Exit #2 in Vermont. Follow directions from Brattleboro.

From Providence, RI

Take I-95 North to Route 146 North and to the Massachusetts Turnpike. Take the Mass Pike West to I- 91 North. Follow I-91 North to Exit #2 in Vermont. Follow directions from Brattleboro.

From Montreal, Quebec and North

Take Route 15 South to I-87 (Northway) in New York. Follow I-87 South to Latham Exit 7. Take Route 7 East to Bennington, VT. (Route 7 becomes Route 9 in Vermont.) Take Route 9 East 21 miles to Wilmington, VT. Turn left at the stoplight onto Route 100 North. Go Approximately 8 miles. Bear left onto Two Tannery Road. Go over bridge and it is the first building on the left.

Mount Snow is located close to the Albany County Airport, Bradley International Airport in Hartford, the regional airport in Keene, New Hampshire, and Logan International Airport in Boston. There is also the Mount Snow Airport for small planes. Call 802-464-8481 for information.

Train service is available via The Amtrak Vermonter to Brattleboro, Vermont, and the new Ethan Allen Express to Rensselaer/Albany

The MOOver
The MOOver is a free transportation shuttle serving the Mount Snow Valley. Painted like Holstein cows, the MOOver has over 30 stops along the Route 9/Route 100 corridor, between Wilmington and West Dover. It’s perfect if you don’t want to drive to Mount Snow or Haystack. Just put your skis or snowboard in the racks provided on each bus and you’re on your way! The MOOver is the third largest public transportation system in the state of Vermont.
