All Things Bascom Related
Since 1949 the Bascoms in New England have been holding reunions every three years. The Bascom Reunion Association has been collecting genealogy at these reunions and distributing copies of the 1870 genealogy "Thomas Bascom and his Descendants". The majority of Bascoms living in the United States today descend from Thomas Bascom.
The Online Bascom
Genealogy is available on this site. To search our genealogy you may click and search any
surname, or search the complete index of persons which are listed
alphabetically. Over 4100 individuals include all Bascoms found in the
two published genealogies "Thomas Bascom and His Descendants" (pub.
1870) and "Bascom and Allied Families" (pub. 1932). Over the past 60
years these records have been added to by Bascom family members.
Relatives often brought information to the reunions in order to update
their records.
This web site has been online for more than 10 years, and relatives from all over the
United States have emailed reliable first hand additions to the
genealogy.
2009 marks the 60th anniversary of the formation of the Bascom
Reunion Association. From humble beginnings in 1949, the association has
grown from a small related group of New Hampshire Bascoms to an association
with several hundred Bascoms on the reunion mailing list. Follow
the links on the left side of this page to learn about the July 2010 reunion,
