Various home loomed wool 19th c. center seamed blankets in great condition and rare colors. Priced from $250.00 to $475.00.

Two pair of circa 1830's glazed chintz curtains with rare exotic Asian inspired print. 29" by 57". Perfect condition. $950.00

Hand knit colored wool mittens, a pen wipe, childs socks and a velvet watch paper under glass.

Late 19th or early 20th c. bronze elephant with a wonderful patina. Unsigned it measures 9 1/2" long. $225.00

Found in Vermont are these two barn door handles with a heart on each one. Hand wrought probably in the late 18th or early 19th c. SOLD

19th c. oil on canvas of a mountain stream. Not signed but certainly done by a very competant artist. All original condition with no restoration and in its original frame. Overall with frame it measures 22 1/4" by 17 1/2". SOLD

Great little tin sconce with candle holder with a beautiful patina. Measures about 5 5/8" across by 9 1/2" long. $275.00

Mid 19th c. English sewing box with inlay. Measures 6 1/2" by 3 1/2". $375.00

Early 19th c. schoolgirl watercolor of three young girls and their sheep. Gallery lable on the back is from the American Folk Art Gallery 32 East 51st street New York City. Titled Song of the Shepard by an anonymous artist. Found in NY. Housed in a frame of the period in mustard yellow paint. Overall with frame it measures 16 1/8" by 19 3/4". The watercolor slid down in the frame a little. $3,800.00

Early 20th c. sterling silver serving piece. There are three smaller bowls and one large one. It is all solid sterling silver and not weighted. Made by Dominick & Haff. Weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. SOLD

19th c. swing handle splint New York state Taconic basket found in Vermont.. Measures 11" across by 5 1/2" to top of rim. $395.00

Northwest Coast Tlingit or Haida totem pole carved in ivory on a whale bone base. Overall measures 4 3/8" high. SOLD

Out of a house in Swanton Vermont is this wonderful round box with lapped fingers, rose head nails and original windsor green paint. Very heavy construction. Late 18th or early 19th c. Measures 5 1/4" across by 2 3/4" high. SOLD

THIS BEAUTIFUL BOX RISES ABOVE YOUR AVERAGE PANTRY BOX. IT'S VERY EARLY. PERHAPS 18TH CENTURY OR EARLY 19TH MADE OF ASH AND PINE WITH EXTRA LONG BEVELED FINGERS AND FASTENED WITH HAND MADE IRON NAILS AND WOODEN PEGS. IT IS HEAVY AND WITHOUT DAMAGE. IT HAS A SPLASH OF OLD DARKENED GLUE NEAR THE BOTTOM ON ONE SIDE AS SHOWN. EVEN THE TOP AND BOTTOM ARE BEVELED AROUND THE EDGE AS ARE THE FINGERS . I WOULD CALL THE COLOR A DARK PUTTY OR TAUPE. THE COLOR IS ONE OF THE THINGS I LOVE THE MOST. IT HAS A SOFT PLEASING PRESENCE. THE ONE AND ONLY COLOR IT EVER HAD ALTHOUGH MOST OF IT HAS WORN OFF THE TOP. THE TOP HAS A WONDERFUL AGE PATINA THAT MAKES THE PAINT WEAR NOT VERY OBVIOUS. THE TOP MEASURES 8 1/2 ACROSS, THE BOTTOM 8 1/4. THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL BOX. SOLD

Very folky watercolor still life theorem dating to the first half of the 19th c. New England origin. Overall with frame measures 20 3/4" by 14 1/4". SOLD

Very nice 19th c. eagle weathervane with great form, zinc head and feet. The surface had a later coat of paint removed to reveal the original yellow sizing and traces of the original gilding. Also there are very well done old repairs where the wings meet the body. Measures 29" long with a 17 1/2" wingspan. SOLD

New England paint decorated box in a small size and original paint with a bird on a stump painted on both sides. (minor repairs) Measures 18" across by 9" deep and 8 3/4" high. $2,250.00

Wonderful applique and embroidered rug with the best colors. A beautiful olive green ground with touches of salmon. Mounted and ready for hanging. Measures 67" long by 39 3/4". $7,500.00

Folk art still life oil on canvas dated 1899 and signed J H Burnett. Measures overall with its original frame 30 5/8" by 25 1/2". $895.00

Very scarce early 19th c. blanket box with original blue paint and egg and diamond decoration with a large heart. Probably a wedding gift made for a loving wife. (minor restortation) Measures 38 5/8" across by 15 3/4" deep and 20 1/2" high. $5,500.00

19th c. American wooden tazza standing 10 1/4" high by 11 1/2" across. $275.00

Unusually tiny embroidered footstool circa 1830. $2,500.00

18th c. trade sign from the Clermont House Clermont New York. This rare tavern and hotel sign came from a building built in 1792 in Clermont and is still standing today. Over the years as with most tavern signs it has been painted over whenever a new owner took over. Upon close examination there is remnants of a seahorse painted under the eagle and stars but the most recent paint on the sign looks to be at least 130 to 150 years old. Overall measures 67 1/2" high by 36 1/4" across and is two sided with the side that faced the south a little more worn. PRICE ON REQUEST

Very rare 18thc. American carved child holding a sheaf of wheat in wonderful condition for it's age considering it probably spent a good portion of its life out in the elements. Attributed to William Rush 1756-1833. Stands 29" high. Price on Request

Very rare American 18th c. needlework purse in pristine condition with the best colors and design accompanied by a small bookplate dated 1807. The hand drawn bookplate was done by the daughter of the maker of the purse in N. Kingstown RI. SOLD

This is by far one of the best early 19th c. painted frames that we have ever owned. The surface is the best, beautiful colors, fine freehand decoration and the finest carving all make for a great piece. Inside measurements are 17 7/8" by 13 5/8" and overall 22" by 17 7/8". $4,800.00

Terrific 18th C. Italian pair of large folk art guilded putti.

This is a wonderful 19th c. freeblown cake stand with beautiful proportions and in excellent condition. Measures 11 1/2" across by 8 3/8" high. $950.00
