To change your password on SoVerNet.

Log in with a shell connection (using a Comm program or a Telnet session)

Type passwd at the [maple:~]$ prompt.

The passwd routine will ask you to type your old password, then your new 
password, then your new password again to confirm it.

Remember that passwords are case sensitive (i.e., capitalization matters)

Remember that other programs may still have your old password saved. You 
will need to update the saved password in those programs (like ConfigPPP 
on a Mac or Custom, in the Chameleon sampler for Windows)

Your SoVerNet password is in no way connected to any other passwords you 
have on other systems like AOL or Compuserve.
